The Calm Before the Storms


We’ve had light snow falling most of the day today, and it looks like we could be in for some serious snowfall starting tonight.

That’s always welcome news, but as you can see in the photos below, it didn’t take a ton of fresh snow to create some super enjoyable conditions both on and off-trail.

    April- I noticed that you are trying to get a top and bottom of the mountain forecast. If you look closely the forecast elevations selected are below than the base and less than the top. I tried hand selecting a point by scrolling on the map and was able to get a top elevation of 7599 feet. If called for 8 – 12 inches of snow versus the 5 – 9 for mid mountain. Give it a try and see if that helps. Love your blog! Rob
