We had so much fun at last year’s celebration, we’ve decided to do it again in honor of our 50th Anniversary!

Brundage Mountain invites you to join us Wednesday, December 28th for live music, a slopeside fireworks show and a sacrificial bonfire!

Live music starts in Smoky’s Bar & Grill at 4:30. The Sloppy Hogg Trio will get us primed for the free Fireworks show, which launches at 5:3o pm.

The festivities and fireworks are free, and there will be plenty of standing room to watch the light show in the base area and on outdoor balconies. Feel free to bring a lawn chair if you’d like to relax during the light show and please dress for winter mountain weather conditions!

We will be hosting a sit-down dinner on the third floor of the lodge, featuring a lasagna feast brought to us by our new chef! Jeff Crosby is the featured musician for the dinner, which starts at approximately 6:00 pm.

Dinner tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for kids 12 & under. Tickets sold out quickly last year, so don’t delay! E-mail info@brundage.com or call 208-634-4151 ext. 124 asap to reserve your spot.

The sit-down dinner will include our Smoky’s signature salad with our house-made balsamic vinaigrette, garlic bread and your choice of one of our Chef’s specialty lasagnas. For our veggie lovers, we will be offering a vegetable lasagna with a cream sauce and lots of cheese! For our meat lovers we have a three-cheese meat lasagna made with our house made marinara. Beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase. The dinner will begin immediately after the fireworks show.

Please note: The 3^rd floor will be reserved for those attending the sit down lasagna feast. Only those who have pre-purchased tickets will be allowed into the third floor area, which will open at 5:00 pm .

EVERYONE is welcome on the decks and balconies. Food and hot & cold beverages will be available for purchase for those not attending the sit-down dinner.

Smoky’s Bar & Grill will not be serving a full menu, but we will have pulled pork sandwiches, and house-made soup and chili available for purchase along with burgers and brats on the grill outside.

Each food or drink purchase you make in Smoky’s will earn you a ticket for our fun give-away drawings. We’ll start out by giving away hats, shirts, caps and other fun stuff at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:00 pm.

The winner of the big prize, a 158cm K2 snowboard, will be drawn at 8:30.

There is no limit on the amount of tickets a person can enter, but you must be present to win!

NEW - The lack of snowfall has us ready to take drastic measures.

Therefore, we will be hosting a Pray for Snow Bonfire in the parking lot, along with a beer garden, starting at 5:00 pm.

Stick around until 7:00 pm when we’ll make our official plea to the powers that be, and we burn our sacrifices on the fiery pyre. The Brundage Team has a special sacrifice to burn, please feel free to bring your own contribution. We do ask that any items you contribute do not contain metal, plastics or other petroleum-based materials. Paper, cardboard and wood are recommended – we encourage you to strip the lights and decorations off your Christmas tree and add it to our conflagration!

Daycare will be offered during our Light Up the Night Party in the Brundage Kid’s Center.

The Torchlight Parade has been cancelled due to safety concerns caused by the lack of snow. We hope to re-schedule it for later this season.

Brundage Mountain is proud to be a sponsor of the Northwest Winter Film Festival,  Idaho’s biggest ski film festival ever. In its inaugural year, the Northwest Winter Film Festival’s mission is to provide a premiere film festival showcasing the talents of both athletes and filmmakers dedicated to creating beautiful imagery in the winter environment.

The NWWFF aims to encourage and foster the passion, adventure, and excitement of the Northwest’s winter culture by presenting the year’s most impressive feature ski films. Taking place on Friday, September 30th at Boise’s Egyptian Theater, the festival will feature the latest offerings from Level 1, Stept Productions, Inspired Media Concepts, and Toy Soldier Productions.

The 2011 edition will feature appearances by numerous pro athletes, autograph signings, a raffle, and a massive swag toss. Tickets are available at Eco Lounge, Greenwoods Ski Haus, The Egyptian Theatre Box Office, and online at www.egyptiantheatre.net.

DJ Hathbanger of Robotic Pirate Monkey will spin tunes all night and at the Official NWWFF party presented by 44º North Vodka.
