Adaptive Snowsports

Adaptive Wilderness Sports of McCall (AWeSOMe!) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to empower people of all abilities through high quality outdoor experiences.

AWeSOMe! works in conjunction with Brundage Mountain Resort to offer ski and snowboard lessons for people with disabilities.  The program provides specialized adaptive equipment and teaching techniques to accommodate people with any type of disability.

Lessons are conducted on a personalized, one-on-one basis with specially trained instructors.  All instructors are specially trained in the adaptive techniques of 3-track, 4-track, mono-ski, bi-ski, guiding skiers with visual impairments, and teaching people with cognitive and developmental disabilities.
